Dr. El Souefi is an internationally recognized educational consultant. With her invaluable experience in both national and international education in Egypt and the Middle East, she leads the academic team at edupedia. She is a certified and experienced International Baccalaureate (IB) trainer and consultant, and a team member for authorizing schools for the IBMYP. She is also certified as an international trainer by Lynn Erickson for concept-based curriculum and instruction. She is currently teaching as well as acting as the head of the curriculum review committee at AUC-Graduate School of Education. She acts as a board member in a number of schools in Egypt and the MENA area.
El Souefi has co-authored a number of publications. The most popular are the IB book “IB Skills for Language & Literature” (Published by IB 2014) and ‘NAMA Arabic Reading Program for KG classes’ (Published by Edupedia 2015). Her master’s degree is in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the American University in Cairo (AUC), while her PhD is in Teacher Education at University of Leicester UK.
